Disgraceful experience from start to finish. Initially had a phone interview where there was a brief chat about my skills and experience. I was then brought in for an unnecessarily intimidating in-person interview (which they were late to). There were 4 people talking at me at once, asking me questions at the same time, barely giving me time to answer before some of them started talking about me while I was standing there trying to make sense of what was going on. I was then asked to do a coding challenge. The challenge they gave me was in a language I told them I have not used (told them in the phone interview all of the languages that I code in. This was not one of them for some bizarre reason. So they obviously didn't listen). Then they all left the room to talk about me then I was very abruptly asked to leave since there was no one there to "mentor" me. Must have only been in the building for about 15 minutes. Didn't even offer to pay for my parking after inviting me for an interview. A few days later I got a very confusing email saying that I was successful and that I start in a few weeks. I then realised that they were interviewing me for a position I did not apply for (they were interviewing me for a software engineering position, not the research position). Total incompetence from all involved and very rude staff. Avoid this place.
