The recruitment process at Aon was comprehensive and multi-stage. It began with an online assessment evaluating numerical and situational judgment skills. I was then invited to complete a prerecorded video interview assessing my motivation and communication abilities. After that, I progressed to the final assessment center, which included group exercises, case studies, and one-to-one interviews with managers. This stage focused on analytical thinking, teamwork, and commercial awareness. Successfully completing these steps led to my offer for the summer internship at Aon.

The interview process was a really valuable experience overall. It felt well-structured, with each stage giving me the chance to highlight different aspects of my skills and motivations. I appreciated how the early stages were focused on assessing my general fit and understanding of the role, while the later ones were more in-depth and allowed me to demonstrate my problem-solving abilities and how I think under pressure. The interviewers were professional yet approachable, which made it easier to engage in a genuine conversation rather than feeling overly formal.
I found the process both challenging and rewarding—it pushed me to reflect on my strengths and areas for growth, while also giving me insight into the culture and expectations of the organisation. Overall, it was a constructive journey that left me with a clearer sense of how I could add value to the team.
