I had a referral.
I was scheduled for interview with hiring manager after being short interviewed by recruiter.
Hiring manager literally asked everything about my life in Montreal and hardly anything about technical skills. Only one question in Java to which I gave 2 possible approaches- most optimized and not so optimum. (Both of which are correct by the way)
JUST ONE QUESTION. THAT'S IT!

After that I was asked if I had any questions.
Next call, recruiter tells me that hiring manager doesn't think I am technically strong enough!
I was dumbstruck! Like you didn't even ask me anything. One question that you asked, I gave you not one but two right answers. And how did you decide I'm not capable?
