Applied for a permanent role from the career website, the recruiter scheduled a call and started interviewing for a contract role. It was quite un professional to schedule an interview and disclose that its a contract role. The recruiter could have emailed the details to check before even calling for an interview. It was total waste of time and effort, lost a respect for a brand that i wanted to associate myself with.

Twice now, have I had outreach from Apple recruiters. One ghosted after I responded to outreach. I interviewed with the other who encouraged me to continue in the process and told me she was excited by my background. It's astonishing to me, as a recruiter, to encourage someone to continue and tell the candidate you want them to meet more people, then completely disappear and ignore follow up.
