The interview process consisted of 3 stages, initial interview, home assignment and onsite with some conversations with HR in between. It was an interesting and quite different experience. Questions were engaging, the interviewers were able to follow up on what was discussed beforehand. It was quite one-sided though and I didn't have much chance to talk about what I could do, or ask questions, most of the interview was answering generic questions, not directly relevant to the position. I quite enjoyed the experience nevertheless until after the onsite when the communication with Apple ceased. I then had to start chasing them and each time I managed to talk to the TA I got that they haven't decided yet. It took about a month to learn that I was rejected for the position. Overall the time investment for this interview was very large compared to elsewhere for a similar role. I wouldn't really want to go through this again.
