An absurd five stage process. Started with a casual chat with recruiter then a 3 hour test, that was ultimately quite easy. Second stage was an HR interview where I was bizarrely quizzed and information security practices - wondering if the HR rep had the wrong job description. Third stage was a discussion with developers and practical discussion of code. The two I spoke with were rude and dismissive multiple times throughout the interview. The coding knowledge they required was more recitation than actual skill, ie whether you can remember the exact syntax for various methods off the top of your head as if any human being ever works like that, it’s patently absurd. Frankly a couple of the concepts I had just never come across before but they treated this as if as I was stupid, insulted me and ended the interview on the spot. Incredibly unprofessional company that doesn’t understand what the role of a QA actually is. Avoid like the plague.
