Entrevista
I had a phone interview with three of their software development/engineering team. One of them contacted me to set up the call and he let me know in advance who I would be speaking with and how the interview would proceed.
We were on the phone for about an hour. They asked about my previous work, why I was looking to leave my academic field (I was a graduating PhD student), there were some general technical questions (about 10%) and then I had the opportunity to ask them any questions I had.
After the phone interview I was asked to complete an online coding assessment.
Within a week of the phone interview I was scheduled for an on site interview which would include a presentation about my software development projects and some more technical interviews, as well as lunch with some of the team. I had to cancel that on site interview as a change in my situation made it impossible for me to accept the position.

Long rounds of interviews lots of material demandsd. Want to make candidate feel like a Google interview but just another government contractor like all the other ones. Not Google pay or benefits or anything.

Entrevista
Applied Online. Set up phone appointment with recruiter few days later. Call was around 45-50 minutes. A few general HR questions, then quite a few technical (OOP) questions, then it was just about wrapped up. Was not exactly prepared for technical questions, but if you know the basics of OOP interview questions you'll do fine.

Had an initial phone screening with a recruiter, then another software engineer called to ask questions about general OOP vocabulary. I was scheduled for a final interview but they wanted me to do a 30 min powerpoint presentation and prepare an abstract. I had an offer elsewhere so I refused.

Develop a technical presentation in PowerPoint that shows your participation in a current or past problem/task/project. Include helpful graphs, charts, and illustrations. Reusing a class or project briefing is normally fine for this purpose.
