The overall process was lengthy, really unpleasant and disrespectful. It involved 2-3 rounds of technical interviews followed by a final round with the co-founders. In the technical interviews, you are expected to navigate an old JavaScript codebase to explain things like how different form elements are created, where the form data comes from, etc. The developers were nice and helpful throughout the process.
However, the co-founders were incredibly judgmental, biased and seemed to have a very fixed mindset. They clearly lack boundaries and behave with an air of arrogance. This type of interview conduct would get them fired in any decently managed company.
I really feel sad for the developers who have to work under such toxic & disrespectful management.
