Simple and quick. I submitted an app and then immediately got an offer for a zoom interview with a recruiter, which was followed up with an offer for a second interview with the leadership of the team overseeing the role I interviewed for.

Entrevista
Recruiter reached out, connected to HR for screening interview. Screening interview featured questions that obviously came from CPO. Difficult to explain some areas of expertise to HR. HR communicated CPO would be reaching out for next step. I had to email HR three times to get response. Communication trailed off from there.

Entrevista
Met with hiring manager for intro call and moved onto next rounds which included calls with CPO, stakeholders, and finally a case study presented to several members of the product team. All interviews were positive, and I was called by the recruiter a day after my case study with a verbal offer. I did some negotiation on salary and was told I would have paperwork soon.
The next day she recruiter called back to say the hiring manager (who had been on leave since first interview) was going to be back in a day or two and wanted to look over details, but not to be concerned and I would not be interviewing again. Then I was asked for times to meet with hiring manager. but only to go over details and not an interview. When I got on the call with hiring manager, it became clear that it was an interview. He also told me he had not watched the recording on my case study presentation. Although I thought the call went well, I received an update a few days later that they "wanted to move in another direction". No other feedback was provided or why an offer was shared and then rescinded.
Overall the experience was very unprofessional, including requesting multiple hours to work on a case study with new feature ideas and roadmap for an existing Apptegy product.
