The interview process included multiple rounds including technical and discussion interviews, and the interviewers were professional with relevant technical discussions. However, one disappointing aspect was expectation alignment. I had clearly communicated my compensation expectations at the very beginning before entering the interview process. Despite that, after investing significant time preparing, attending multiple rounds, and successfully clearing the process, I was informed at the final stage that the company’s budget did not align with the previously discussed expectations. Better upfront transparency would significantly improve the candidate experience and avoid unnecessary time investment for both sides.
