The interview process was very detailed, but quick. I initially heard from a recruiter at the firm (via email and telephone), then I spoke to the Controller of the department. The initial contact and the telephone call with the Controller happened within two days. After speaking with the Controller, I was brought in (two days, excluding the weekend) to interview with the other Accounting Managers. Two days letter, I spoke to the Director of the department. As we wrapped up the call, an offer was extended. I received my offer letter via email (less than 24 hours), signed and accepted the position. After I signed the offer letter, my background and references were checked/verified. Not sure if the background check included a credit check, but it did include a criminal history check. I provided two references.
