How often do you find that a company puts the search for a senior hire in the hands of a chronically inexperienced individual who, by virtue of that fact, cannot be expected to properly understand or assess multi-dimensional and deep know-how from alternative sectors?
The more experiences you have, the more people you encounter and you begin to understand the value of what they have done in alternative sectors, but actually bring the valuable skills to your company. How long must this be a feature of the role of recruitment in an organisation?
It felt to me that the recruiter (not the hiring manager) was reading from a person specification written without any real basis to explain why a certain quantum of years experience was absolutely necessary.

Entrevista
First started with an HR/recruiter screening, followed by the hiring manager and the hiring manager's manager. Last and final interview was panel in person. Red flag, one of the interviewer's asked if I was married and had kids - a no-no! If that person was so comfortable asking that in an interview, it made me wonder if they would not have boundaries when it comes to work and personal life.
