Aplied online and was contacted quickly to begin the interview process. The initial stages were efficient, but as the process progressed, timelines became inconsistent and less predictable, with some delays attributed to internal scheduling.
Interviews themselves were positive and I received consistently strong feedback, which set clear expectations about my standing as a candidate. However, communication declined significantly in the later stages, ultimately resulting in a period of silence before receiving a rejection.
While interactions with individuals were professional and courteous, the overall process felt disjointed and lacking in coordination. The gap between feedback given during interviews and the final outcome was notable.....and more transparency and consistency, particularly toward the end of the process, would improve the experience for candidates.

The recruiter for this company is a disaster. He missed 2 out of 3 scheduled calls, and did not remember any information about me, which did not motivate me for this role. The interview was a two step process: a zoom call with the manager and an engineer, and a second zoom call with another engineer. The manager made it clear he expects his workers to do overtime, work on weekends, and does not care about his team's work-life balance. The engineers, as well as multiple accounts on the internet, confirmed that there is no space for breaks at Aqueduct Technologies, and that burnout is very common (direct quote from manager during my first interview). They offered a salary 20k less than what I was making at my previous job, and implied that they were desperate for more engineers to come on due to an influx of projects. After my interviews and a lot of positive feedback, the recruiter, manager, and engineers ghosted me. I applied a year ago, and have not heard from them since my interview.
They did a great job at deterring me from working here. If more companies were this transparent about their disregard for their workers' well-being, we would have less people trapped in abusive workplaces. I feel grateful, and encourage others to look for other opportunities.

Entrevista
1 telephonic round with the recruiter was followed by 2 days interview round with 6 people from different departments. It was an online video call. First-round was with the immediate manager.
