Positive interview experience, but in the end I'm pretty sure there was no position open. I had really nice conversations with people who seemed passionate about the work they were doing. They described challenges I thought would be fun to work on, and weren't shy about saying it would be a lot of hard work. At the end of the on-site interview, I was really thinking I might hear back from the company, but when I did, they said they'd chosen another candidate. Well, that happens, but for the next six months I saw this company post different variations of the same job. I wish they would have leveled with me.
