The recruitment process was lengthy and disappointing, taking approximately two to three months to complete. I initially applied for a Financial Reporting position but was eventually offered a Financial Analyst role instead, which was not aligned with my expectations or the original application. From the start, I communicated clearly my requirements regarding salary and the permanent contract. However, at the final stage, the recruitment team presented a significantly lower salary than discussed and proposed a fixed-term contract policy of three consecutive one-year contracts. Overall, the experience was unpleasant, unprofessional in terms of communication by recruitment aspect and poorly managed, leaving a negative impression of the company’s recruitment approach.

I got through 2 stages: First was on the phone with a HR person in London, the second in-person with the Managing Director and the Lead Analyst in Kuala Lumpur.
