Talked about good perks but it just sound sketchy to me. I was listening to the training and the person doing the presentation talked very quickly that a good tactic to get people on board.

Applied to online jobs via Handshake. Came across a travel agent opportunity and as I live in a small town but adore traveling, I thought this would be a perfect fit. Instead, you had to pay monthly and it seems scammy. I went to one Zoom meeting that went on for about an hour with plenty of other people, our cameras and mics were turned off, and only the chat was on - the presenter was sweet, but I don’t see myself pursuing this. It’s an mlm, jobs shouldn’t ask you to pay.

Asked for $50 to get access to a website, and that was the cheapest option

I've worked in an IATA certified travel agency for several years and I didn't have to pay for anything regarding my work or training, it was provided for me as the agency was investing in me as their worker. Don't fall for something like this, look for a better job that doesn't make you pay for it. You didn't even look at my CV, the country I'm currently in isn't part of your list. There is no filter, you just invite anyone who can get the monthly payment from. That's why they disable the Zoom messages, too.

They don't ask any questions, this is a sales pitch presentation that makes you sign-up to a website and pay 90 USD a month to become a travel agent.
