Shortly after, I received a more competitive offer from another company. I respectfully declined Areeb's offer via email and waited for a response. When I didn’t hear back, I decided to call the HR representative as a courtesy to ensure my email was received. To my surprise, the conversation was quite unprofessional. I asked her if she had received my email, and she responded with a simple "yes." When I reiterated that I just wanted to confirm, she abruptly ended the call without any polite closing or acknowledgment. Overall, the lack of professionalism and courtesy left a negative impression on me. It's important for companies to handle candidate communications respectfully, especially when closing the loop on an offer.
