Met with recruiter and hiring manager - all went well and we all agreed to move forward. Did 2 panels, and 2 individual interviews - totalling 9 executive level interviewers. I was told twice that I was one of the 2 finalists and would hear in a week. Unfortunately, they didn't respond back that I wasn't chosen (my assumption.) That was a lot of time, energy, and prep. I'm sure a 'we picked the other guy' email would have been professional and well received. Other than ghosting on the decision, this was hard but a positive experience.
