There is no official interview process. Depending upon the route you take to become an officer: OCS, ROTC, Academy, you are evaluated constantly and officially when put into a leadership role by TAC officers & TAC NCO's. You must complete and pass all training requirements to commission and upon becoming a 2LT, you branch. After branching, you are assigned to a unit and they determine what position you will hold. Outstanding performance in you OCS or ROTC class may help you get a preferred slot in a unit.
