      Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 3 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Arnold Clark em jul. de 2016

      Entrevista

      Applied online directly via the careers section of the website and received an email containing the instructions to complete a technical test which was attached. I believe I submitted a perfectly good attempt at this but after two weeks of no updates I emailed the person who sent the initial technical test email and then called a week later after still not having received a response. The recruiter asked if I hadn't been contacted and I said I hadn't received anything and then a few days letter I received an email from a new recruiter telling me that I had been unsuccessful. When I asked for more information the feedback I was given was that the solution I provided wasn't deemed to be at the correct level for the senior role. Personally I was a bit disappointed as I would have liked to have the opportunity to reach the interview stage and discuss any questions they might have had about my solution or any approaches and decisions I made. The lack of communication and useful feedback is also quite disappointing considering the time and effort that goes into completing the test itself.

      Thank you very much for leaving a review of our recruitment process, and for your interest in working for Arnold Clark. Our award-winning Digital Product Development department has industry-leading standards. This is why we provide a technical test at the outset of the process – it helps us to better understand if candidates will be able to meet these standards on a day-to-day basis in the role, and be comfortable with our high expectations. Unfortunately, your test did not meet the specific criteria we were marking it on, and in light of this, it would have been unfair to you to prolong the experience by inviting you for interview. Of course it’s disappointing to put time and effort into an application only to find out it wasn’t successful. We’ve all been there. Because we can’t give feedback to every person who applies, we do make it clear on our job adverts that only those who are successful will be contacted for interview. On this occasion, it wasn’t the right fit, but we wish you all the very best with your future career. Lynne McBurney, Group HR Manager
