Entrevista
Art.com has a long interview process. Expect to go through 3 rounds or 4 rounds including a phone interview. For each day of interviews there will be about 3 to 4 different 1:1 interviews with varying roles. The culture seems like a very hard working one where you'd probably work more than 8 hour days. It is definitely not a startup / casual environment. It feels very corporate with business/casual attire (no jeans). The office layout is a typical maze of cubes.

Entrevista
I first had a phone call with a recruiter, then the hiring manager (which went AWESOME!), who then brought me in for a first round in-person interview with 4 people which (I thought) went really well. I was then given a take-home design challenge which I took the whole weekend to complete, and returned a few days later to meet with 6-7 more people (yes, it was extremely long and exhausting), this time more Senior level. I thought I nailed it, that I was in.
I got a bland rejection email a few days later. I wrote both the recruiter and a separate email to the hiring manager asking for feedback, because I thought it went well, and I seemed to get good feedback on my design challenge. No response from either of them. This made me feel so rejected and hurt, so much so that I refuse to ever work with this company.

Entrevista
Started with recruiter phone screen, then moved to a phone screen with a hiring manager. Next stage: onsite interview with 2 team members and a product head. Everyone was pleasant to meet with. The team members described their vision for the future of the team and how they currently collaborate. Overall, everyone was informative and seemed forthcoming with the challenges that the team faced in the past, and how they planned to move forward into the future.
