I was contacted by a recruiter within their HR to set up a preliminary phone interview with her. That interview went really well and I was told the hiring manager had specific questions that wanted her to ask me and that I was a top candidate. A week later I had the actual interview with the hiring managers. That interview went well. The recruiter called me after to tell me they really liked me and that I would receive a response in 1 to 2 weeks. When I never received a response, I reached out to ask what was going on. She said they have decided to wait until after the holidays to give a response. A week or two later, I saw the same job posting online and asked about it. Essentially, I was told they posted the same job again but I was still a top candidate - basically I was the backup now. I never received a response and the whole process was defeating with them constantly giving me false hope only to cut off communication from me.

Interview was with a panel of 3 people. Really was not asked technical questions. They seemed more interested in my experience working with others. They also seemed to be in a rush to finish the interview. I could sense that they were not interested in my technical skills.
