I applied for one position and they wanted me to interview for another, which came out during the screening interview.
In addition to a screening interview, I had five telephone interviews with five different people including the potential supervisor, two lateral managers and two VPs over a two-week period.
However, they elected not to have me come to their offices for additional interviews (in person). If I did, I was also expected to present a topic in such a way that I was teaching them something -- they weren't looking at a specific topic but rather an ability to teach or briefing skills, which were to be part of the job.
