Roughly an hour technical interview. The questions were fairly simple, and the conversation mostly revolved around discussing my experience with relevant technologies. It wasn’t a difficult interview, but the overall experience wasn’t great. I was told to "impress the guy" and to "tell him why to hire me," which I found a bit odd. It felt like they expected me to beg for the position, which doesn't align with my view of the interview process as a mutual assessment. This isn’t the 1980s anymore – it’s a two-way contract ! Also, major red flags with last few people in this role all being sacked. Promised some feedback but never even bothered. Very unprofessional.
