I had actually done some research before the interview and couldn’t find much about the company. The listing mentioned them as Atlas Vision, but after digging a little deeper, I found they are also known as Atlas Marketing Solutions. That added to the uncertainty and raised some questions. The interview itself was a bit unusual, as I wasn’t expecting it to be a group interview. It was slightly less awkward because the other person was applying for a different position, but there was no introduction to explain the format or clarify why we were both there at the same time. This lack of context left me feeling uncertain about the process. Additionally, when we asked for more details about what the company does and the daily responsibilities of the role, we didn’t receive clear answers. The interviewer shared some information about their involvement in events like rodeos and motocross, but it didn’t clarify the specific duties or expectations for the position. When we asked, “What do you do for these events?” the response was simply, “Well, we are a marketing company.” Okay, but what exactly are you responsible for marketing at each event? To me, it didn’t seem like he knew what they did or had any idea how to explain it. Seems a bit scammy if you ask me. It should have been a red flag when their job description lacked a majority of information about the role.
