The interview process with Atlassian was a very positive experience. Each of the recruiters were very professional providing great advice and excellent feedback in a very timely manner. Each of the interviewers were very easy to get along with, guided the interviews very smoothly, and provided great insight into working at the company. The whole process took about 6 weeks between first contact and receiving an offer, but this was mostly due to my own schedule constraints... The process could be completed much faster for a candidate with more time available. The interview process consisted of 6 stages. 1. Phone Screening with a recruiter. This was a short 30min call with one of the recruiters. The conversation was very relaxed and focused on my own career interests and how they could align with the role. 2. Coding Interview 1. This was a 60min interview with an engineer where the goal was to design an api rate limiter. The interviewer was very knowledgeable about the task and provided great direction, advice, and feedback. 3. Coding Interview 2. This was another 60min interview with an engineer where the goal was to design a voting system that could determine a winner given a list of votes. 4. System Design Interview. This interview involved designing a tagging system for Atlassian products. The interviewer was an engineer who guided the interview very well, gave good advice, and continually probed the design for improvements. 5. Values Interview. This interview was taken by a developer and asked questions which related my own experiences to Atlassian's core values. The discussion was well structured but quite relaxed. 6. Management Interview. This interview was done with the manager of the team I was assigned to. The questions again asked me to relate past experiences to qualities of interest such as leadership, resourcefulness, etc.

Karat interview to start with. After, two data structures and algorithms coding interviews with atlassian directly. Each of these interviews was an hour. Afterwards, they have a system design interview and then a culture interview, but I didnt reach those stages.
