      Entrevista

I had an unexpected experience with Austin Face and Body that I feel compelled to share. While I was excited to join the team, unfortunately, the job offer extended to me was rescinded for no valid reason. After an engaging interview process (I'd like to mention Teri, the consultant, here - she's great but sadly not a full-time employee), and having spent 3 hours meeting the rest of the team at my final interview stage, I was genuinely thrilled to receive a job offer. However, my enthusiasm was short-lived as the job offer was rescinded, and regrettably, the reasons provided lacked clarity and justification. (I asked for clarifiction on the working hours as the owner seemed to have dodged the quesiton when I asked. Oddly, in your job description you have a paragraph on how to use spell check but your hours are not outlined! I wanted to see if there was flexibility on the starting time (which nobody confirmed in the first place) - to allow for the heavy traffic and my daughter's school schedule. I offered to work through lunch to maintain productivity. I did point out earlier that, if this is not possible, that's ok, I'll make arrangments but with 2 weeks until proposed start date I needed to know fairly promptly what hours I'm expected to work. I did also ask for a possibility of a different job title, given the duties I was asked to perform. This turn of events was both surprising and disappointing, leaving me perplexed about the company's decision-making process and commitment to potential employees. I believe that a professional organization should honor their commitments, especially when a candidate has invested time, effort, and emotional energy into the process. I value professionalism and open communication in the hiring process, and my experience here left me feeling somewhat disheartened. A candidate invests not just in the role but in the company's values and integrity as well. I hope that this feedback serves as an opportunity for the company to reflect on their communication practices and improve the overall candidate experience. In the end, I would advise potential candidates to approach the interview process with a degree of caution and to seek clarity on any uncertainties before investing too heavily in the opportunity.
