      Entrevista

      The interview process began with a brief phone call with the recruiter asking about salary expectations, followed by a brief conversation via LinkedIn, and an email confirming the interview date and time. Despite these interactions, no specific details about the interview format or expectations were provided. Only detail that was provided was that this would be a camera-on interview. When I joined the interview, I asked what steps were involved, and the recruiter mentioned that this interview and one other call with the CTO would be part of the process. Based on this, I assumed the interview would be a screening call. However, when the interview began, I quickly realised it was a technical interview. I was unable to answer couple of questions. I expressed my misunderstanding about the format, and the response I received was that, given my current position in the industry, I should already be familiar with the everything that was discussed and this has been the process thats already followed and they have already hired a good number of people. This was enough for me to realise its a red flag. While I understand the expectation to have a certain level of knowledge, clearer communication about the interview's format would have helped me prepare more effectively. Additionally, despite the email specifying that the interview would be a "Camera On" session, none of the other participants had their cameras turned on. This inconsistency added to the confusion and made the experience feel less organised. Soon after the interview I dropped a message to the recruiter informing that I would like not to proceed further.
