Phone Interview: This went over the basics of what the company does and their growth and light questions about my background. Hiring Manager Interview: This went over what the company was looking for, detailed questions about my background and technical experience, as well as how the teams were set up. The only thing that stood out to me in this interview as a negative was that the hiring manager said "Every person that works here has the skills". What that communicates to me is that either the work isn't a challenge, or he was attempting to disparage me. He communicated that I would hear back by Monday as if I would be moving forward but then I got a standard rejection email instead. Auto/Manual Manager Interviews (45 mins each) I didn't make it to these due to above. Overall Impression: Based on their tech stack they don't need someone with my level of experience, and I think that was the reason I didn't move forward. That should have been better presented early on to save us time.
