The process involved several interview stages including HR, hiring managers and a senior executive. The interviewers themselves were professional and the role sounded interesting.
However, the communication throughout the process was poor. After completing multiple rounds of interviews, including a senior leadership interview, there was no update for a long period of time. A follow-up email requesting a status update also received no response.
Candidates invest significant time preparing for interviews and participating in several rounds of discussions. The complete lack of communication or closure after such a process leaves a negative impression. Even a short update or formal rejection would demonstrate basic respect for candidates’ time and effort.
