The interview itself wasn't particularly impressive. The manager was being vague, using the phrase "you know" over and over when I was asking questions about the company. The interviewer spent a lot of time asking about my personal thesis, which he found interesting, but was quickly dismissive when I asked about the work life ratio, team environment and salary, stating that even though this is a startup and there are no benefits there is "great" promotion possibility in the future. I am not very keen on working with such people, as it seems a very solipsistic, "I use you" culture.
