In the initial screening round with HR, I clearly explained that I have a research background and no engineering/development experience. Still they decided to continue with the interview process. I cleared all interview rounds and in the final round as well, I believe I did well. But, later they rejected me by saying that they are looking for someone with the engineering experience as well who can manage teams. Despite very clearly communicating my experience and background, they decided to pursue with the interview, wasted my weeks and then rejected me citing a very lame reason.
