I went through 8 rounds of interviews that included a 30 min screen with HR, 1 hour interview with the hiring manager, 1 hour C# data structure coding problem (not related to Unity or the job position at all). Then the next 5 rounds of interviews were scheduled all in a row, 1 hour with the senior unity developer, 1 hour coding problem which I was told beforehand would be a coding problem through the hired website but I was surprised when they asked for me to screen share from my desktop and given a prompt that began with "there is no way you can finish this in 1 hour but you have 1 hour". After that I did another 1 hour coding problem and two more rounds of interviews. The following week I received a very short and automated sounding email saying, “after reviewing your application we are going to proceed with other candidates”. I tried following up with the recruiter many times, but I haven’t received any feedback or response which is incredibly frustrating because how much time I put into all these interviews. I have never heard of having to go through that many rounds of interviews, and then not getting any feedback or replies. This was a very negative experience and hope you treat applicants better in the future and please respect people’s time.

I was asked for my availability for the first round of interviews twice, and both times I was told my candidacy would not be pursued before I had the first interview. This was a waste of time and a disappointment.
