This person emailed with that there might be an opportunity for me and told me to call if interested. It was a phone call conversation. The person asked me about my current salary status and how much I am expecting from this job. When I gave him a number of what I am expecting without even telling me my roles and responsibility , he just responded like it was way too much and he will just offer a little more than the minimum pay because I do not have any practical experience of that job.
There were many other things that I found very very wrong about that interview and in my mind I immediately decided to decline any further interviews with him and even if it is a job offer.
As soon as I rejected it by saying that I do not wish to move to another province for this contract position, he responded by saying that we are interested in experienced people so please first get some experience with another company and then come back here.
He was offering a minimum pay for a contract position of a few months and expecting experience of 2-3 years. This was the worst interview experience I had and I felt it wasn't even a professional communication from the opposite side.
