I was contacted by a recruiter and then asked to meet for a roughly 4 hour session at their office. The recruiter was very helpful and provided advice throughout the process. On day 1, some behaviorial questions and technical questions on the board were asked. The manager also presents the various training opportunities and tells you more about the position. After that there is 2 hours of written test which include questions on PLC, coding, basic circuits, networking and IQ. The test is very easy. After reviewing test results, they ask to meet on Day 2 where they ask about the company and their products and lots of sales scenarios. On Day 3, they ask you to present a project and then further sales scenarios. The interviewers ask very generalistic questions such as names of things compared to asking to solve technical problems. The manager will keep mentioning that he doesn't expect you to know sales. Yet, they keep giving you sales scenarios, which contradict that statement. They expect you to know names of their products and what version their software is in. They ask you which city their HQ is in and a bunch of other ridiculous questions. They don't review resumes properly and after 3 days of interview tell you that you are lacking experience in a certain field. They don't ask enough technical questions and the test means nothing. Getting a good result on the test should suffice as technical competancy. Their interview process is long and ineffective. Asking the right questions on Day 1 could have saved 2 more days of hassle. They wasted both mine and their time. At the end it felt like they were just looking for excuses to not offer. Horrible experience.

3 Interviews First interview was a quick 20 minutes phone interview going over what I knew about B&R and my interests. Second interview was in person for one hour, asked me some behavioral questions and they explained their training process. Third interview again was in person for an hour, followed by a 1.5 hour test. Test consisted of a PLC question, electrical, acceleration/speed/distance and a programming question. Also had some brainteasers such as the 3 bulb and one switch question. Overall not too difficult.
