Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 4 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela BAYADA Home Health Care (Wilmington, DE) em nov. de 2012
Entrevista
I got there early so I had to wait which was a little awkward but the secretary was very nice. The office was cubicle style, kinda like the tv show The Office. Very close quarters. When I interviewed she was very nice and told me how she started where I was and is now one of the hiring managers and that everyone works together as a team. Very standard interview style until the tests began. I had to take an 8 minute SAT style test assessing my math and written skills. Luckily from the initial phone inquiry I got about the position I knew this was coming but oh my gosh was it tough. She told me hardly anyone finishes in 8 minutes and she was right. During the interview she told me about the pay, which I believe was $34,000 and the healthcare benefits (bluecross/blueshield), sick, personal and vacation time etc. I really thought I had the job and at the end she asked if I had any questions and I said, when will I know if I was hired? She said there was one more test and to schedule time for it because it takes a few hours. The next day I took the test and it was grueling. It took me almost 3 hours and the questions ran the gambit from vocab to math to personality and back again. About a week later I had not heard from anyone and decided to send a thank you card for the interview. I called and just trying to get the interview person's email was a huge struggle, let alone to check on the status of my application. So after after 3 1/2 hours of testing and the interview itself was an hour and a half, no callback, no email, no offer. I now wonder if they have to interview a certain number of people a year and had no plan to hire me to begin with. I also wouldn't be surprised if Bayada came out with some study about interview stress and math/verbal skills because those tests were ridiculous. I'm really disgusted by them and would suggest you don't set your sights on them. Go to the interview, cause maybe it would work out for you but don't have high hopes. Keep yourself open for better opportunities.
