Applied for a job this month, and received a call from the HR team following which I had a telephonic interview (1st round) for about 15-20 minutes after which I was called for a face-to-face meeting the next day. Although I reached their office even before the time they had specified, but had to wait long hours (almost a total of 4 hrs) to finish the process, most of the time sitting in their lobby doing nothing. So be prepared to wait for long hours. Since I had already had telephonic interview with the HR, they put me directly on to Round 2 of face-to-face interview. Even though the position was mentioned as 'Travel Consultant' in their Job Description, this position was completely for corporate hotel bookings. The interviewer mostly asked questions about family background, prior work experience and gave a couple of screenshots of the Hotel GDS bookings printed on a paper and asked me to simplify the codes, etc. Apart from this, general questions about what were my achievements and so on.

I attended a walk-in interview on 23rd May 2025. I was ask for immediate joining, I mentioned during interview that 15 days is my notice period i can join so Hr was okay with it. The very next day, I was informed that to join by 2nd June. I explained again that I would only be available after serving my notice period 15. Despite this, I was told to wait for an update after two days. I waited patiently for over a week, but no communication was provided. I tried reaching via calls, but no response. I’m very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and communication from the HR team. Traveling a long distance for a walk-in interview only to be left without any update feels like a complete waste of time and effort. If the application has been withdrawn or if the position is no longer available, a simple email update would have been appreciated. I hope the organization takes this feedback seriously and improves communication with candidates in the future.
