A friend recommended me for the position. Met with two senior directors over lunch a week or so later when they were in town to discuss the business and to get a feel for one another. Was a very positive meeting. Both were very friendly and forthcoming. The meeting ended with a promise to continue the conversation via email. A week or so later I get an email saying they were delighted and wanted to speak further about the job opportunity. I replied promptly, then silence. Two weeks later I get another email apologizing for the delay and stating that he would get back to me with a time we might speak further. I replied I understood and not to worry about it (the director was also a recent acquisition and understandably busy getting acquainted). Two and a half weeks go by without a word, 4 e-mails go unanswered, phone calls all go to voicemail.
In short, the whole situation was very confusing. No simple updates or professional courtesy. Felt left out on a limb, and as if a great deal of time had been wasted for no apparent reason.
Really expected more from a company of this size.
Be wary of BDA when looking for employment.
