Candidatei-me online. O processo levou 6 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela BLM Law (Manchester, Inglaterra) em set. de 2021
Entrevista
Short interview via phone where I was asked questions about my experience, salary expectations, how I would fit the role and why I wanted to leave my current role - only lasted about 15 minutes and was offered a formal interview via zoom.
Zoom interview meeting lasted about 1 hr with an associate and a partner. There were technical questions about my job, the litigation process, the claims process, they wanted to know what I knew which is fair - it wasn’t like a test, more like a conversation. There are parts of the job that I’ve got experience in and some aspects I have learned at BLM. Also questions based on you as a person. They want to see how you will fit with the team and the firm as a whole. It was quite relaxed and there was room to make conversation to get to know them as well as them get to know me. It didn’t feel like too much pressure, just like a conversation towards the end. This is my first paralegal role and they confirmed they would be happy to train me on anything I didn’t already have knowledge on, although I am a law graduate and have worked in claims management in the same area of law for 2 years so knew the ropes somewhat before I joined.

Pergunta 1
How would your friends and family describe you?
What do you do day to day in your job?
How do you organise your time?
Two partners were in attendance. Took about 30 minutes in total. Pretty standard questions. They came across as quite professional and serious. They asked if you had any questions at the end of the interview. Unfortunately I didn’t get the offer because I seem a little over-qualified for the paralegal role.
