I had my first phone interview in May 2018. Another followed the following week. Next Assesstment centre. I'm still waiting on this. Numerous emails with things like this: Response in my last email dated 10/01/2019 "Firstly the good news – we are about to launch a brand new recruitment campaign in Openreach with another substantial amount of new engineering vacancies to fill through 2019/20. I am aware that you have been patiently waiting for a call up to an assessment centre, as you had successfully passed our online and video interview process. I can only apologise – we had an extraordinary response to our recruitment campaign with well over 60,000 people making an application and going through the process, Unfortunately for you, that meant in large parts of the country we were hugely oversubscribed with candidates and in some places we had in the region of 100 people waiting for an interview for every vacancy in that area! However we are now starting all over again and before we launch our new recruitment advertising we want to ensure people like yourself, if still interested, will be a priority for our next round of assessment centres subject to location demand. As you have already passed the online testing and video interview we are not going to ask you to start a brand new application. However if you are still interested please click on the link below by Friday 11th January to update your details and ensure all the information we have about you (such as type of driving license etc.) is still correct." So.. It is now 12th Feb and still nothing. I left the military 2 years ago and firmly set my sights on a new career. After my first 2 interviews I was set that I wouldnt go for another job. But I'm coming to the end of my wits. Im a family man who needs a job to support said family and kids. Maybe once I get past the interview stage at assessment centre I can re - evaluate this.

First is video interview of computer generated questions. Then if successful a further 2 interviews, a suitably interview and a compatibility interview both about 30 mins and are face to face.
