Entrevista
Met a partner and 2 senior consultants at a conference. They were all terrific, friendly, and passionate about their business. I was instantly hooked - mostly for the energy, authenticity and enthusiasm they showed in their work. I was extended an invitation to the final round interviews - an intense 2 day showdown that included a 6 hour simulation done in teams of applicants (undergrad and grad); schmoozing sessions, unexpected, on the spot public speaking requirements, and finally a filmed presentation to a panel of current BTS consultants and partners. Lots of interaction with employees from all levels of the firm. Great hotel & food. Intense, for sure, but that matches their culture which is highly motivated, intense and collaborative. Fun people, but definitely hungry - very entrepreneurial.

We were required to do a presentation on the full business implications of the decisions we had made during the 6 hour simulation; I stumbled a bit on the difference between operating income and net income... mostly because I was so exhausted from the day long simulation, followed by a long night of partying with partners and consultants at the firm; that at 7:30AM my mind was working at a groggy pace.

Entrevista
I interviewed with this firm and initially had a very positive impression of its culture and people-centric values. However, after the interview process, I received no follow-up communication despite sending polite messages requesting an update. Even a brief note informing candidates that they were no longer being considered would have been appreciated.
While I understand that hiring priorities can change, candidate experience is often a reflection of organizational culture. The lack of communication felt inconsistent with the firm's stated emphasis on human-centered values.

My feedback would be to improve transparency and close the loop with candidates, even when the outcome is negative.
There are a few steps in the whole process, including speaking with the recruitment team for screening, then speaking with a few other senior consultants/directors, and the final one is a case presentation.

El caso consistía en:
Analizar el caso de una empresa (te dan datos e informe de contexto) para conformar un entendimiento y a partir de ahi tienes 30 mins con el responsable C level de la empresa, para hacer preguntas de scoping que te permitan definir alcance del proyecto
Una vez respondidas las preguntas, tienes que presentar una propuesta/plan de formación para esa empresa a tu "equipo BTS"
