1st interview was a phone screen with the recruiter. 2nd interview was a Zoom call with the hiring manager. 3rd interview was a Zoom panel interview with people who would be closely working with the role. After passing all of those, I was told that for the final round, I needed to spend up to 4 hours essentially producing a work product that the new hire should be responsible for doing as part of their job (but in far less time than would be prudent to do good work), to then present to another panel (including hiring manager). Before I did this, I noticed the position was listed again on a job board as a brand new listing, and questioned this but was told that it was of no concern, that it was an automated function of their ATS. On the slides, I did not provide enough detail where my work could be used without being hired. My plan was to get into more detail during the oral presentation. After sending the slides as a pre-read to the recruiter so they could forward it on to the panel, I got on the Zoom "presentation" call to find out I was no longer a candidate before I even had a chance to present. This whole process was absolutely awful. One of the worst I have ever been through, and I've been interviewing for a long time.
