Applied online for this position and got a call back almost immediately. The woman who interviewed me asked general questions and overall I felt the interview went well. She told me she was going to pass me onto the next steps and would call me the following week to schedule everything. Flash forward to almost three weeks later, plus one thank you email and three follow up messages and she still hadn’t responded. Yet, she read all of my messages because I put a read receipt on each message. Finally yesterday, I received a generic (probably copied and pasted from their HR handbook) message from her saying they have moved on with other candidates. This message was not thought out, and lacked any guidance or feedback on how the interview went. I even replied back to her right away to ask for feedback for future opportunities. I was very disappointed at how unprofessional this entire situation was. If anything, please call or email back to at least communicate that you have moved on with another candidate. Don’t leave the candidate hanging on for three weeks when YOU said you would follow up! The total lack of communication was extremely rude and unprofessional. This definitely left a bad taste in my mouth with this organization.
