I made it to the final interview, thought I did really well, and then I get the auto rejection email. Up until that point my contact with that company had been super responsive, but as soon as they sent that--they ghosted me. No feedback, nothing. A company who makes HR software should be able to communicate respectfully towards others, especially since they wasted many hours of our time. As far as the actual interview process goes, the process goes as follows: 1. [2-4 hours] They send you a link to a test they want you to take. It's 16 questions, they are broken up into groupings: coding, sql, questions. Each grouping starts easy/simple and gets more like an actually coding challenge question. The questions at the end are open response, including everyone's favorite: "why do you want to work for our company"? 2. [30 minutes] Phone interview - normal HR "do you really want to apply for this job" kind of interview 3. [1 hr] Meeting with manager (not the hiring manager, just some manager) - technical questions, no coding challenge, talk more about your resume 4. [2 hrs] - 1st hour is 2 engineers asking you more technical questions and doing some system design challenges. 2nd hour is 2 other engineers asking you about culture fit. Thank you BambooHR for wasting ~8hrs of my time and giving me zero feedback. I will assume it was some illegal discrimination since you refuse to even give me the typical "we're looking for someone with more experience" excuse.
