      Entrevista

      Back in February I applied for a junior role in the digital team and was invited for an interview. After 3 interviews and completing a task and a presentation, I was asked to come in for a 4th meeting to enable "a final decision to be made”. Going on public transport in to Central London was against government advice in March. The interview time was changed twice at the last minute. I did not get the role as I was told I was overqualified. This could have been ascertained from my CV. I was subsequently advised that there was another role more suited to my level of experience. After I was invited twice to put my details forward for this role, I agreed. A further two week silence ensued. When I requested an update, I was informed this role was too specialised and was invited to be put forward for yet another. After more interviews, more tasks, and another trip to the office in lockdown I was told I would not be kept waiting long as they were well aware how much of my time they had taken. A further 3 weeks silence followed. It was June before I heard that while they had initially not received many applications for the role a late influx meant they found someone more suitable. This company should take more care and demonstrate far more sympathy and understanding in their recruitment processes. To complete 8/9 rounds of interviews, online and inhouse, for 3 different roles at this time when they have little intention of hiring you is entirely unjustified.
