Submitted my resume. They followed up a few weeks later with a system design assignment that would take several hours to complete. Asking this of an interview candidate for a senior position without an initial phone call to discuss job responsibilities or salary is insulting. I don't even know if I want the job yet, why would I do a bunch of free work for you?
