It was supposed to be a session with a professional psychologist, examining your personality and whatnot. I was rather excited at first, having decent experiences talking with many a psychologist for personal/academic purposes. But it was different this time: My appointment was firstly scheduled at 10am, two weeks upon receiving the invitation e-mail. The psychologist personally contacted me D-1 to move up the schedule to 8.30am. This was too early for me but I sincerely felt that I had an asymmetric power to be assertive, so I said yes to the new arrangement. The psychologist was late for 12 minutes, ironically to her own schedule and it just went downhill from there. She acted more like some sort of a bully than a psychologist; asking tricky questions and would not hesitate to point your answers out, as if you were in a test hall. Some questions would just be repetitive (e.g., "Are you sure that you are an expert of such thing?" followed by "But would that not make you incapable of doing other things?" Very generic and black-and-white which makes no sense. She was suggesting that being skilled in one area forbids you to be good on other aspects.) All in all, such an unpleasant experience. Next time BCA wants to recruit someone, it would perhaps be a better idea to make use the aid of a high school freshie than such psychologist with multiple degrees. Would love to report this, but I guess recruiters are immune to law in this forsaken place.

Relaxed interview with comfortable flow, more like storytelling settings. Questioned most about the candidates' experiences and personality. One on one online interview, started on time, took about 20 to 25 minutes.
