Assessment centre - 2 group exercises in which you must collaborate and then present a case
1 hour interview 50% competency 50% technical with one person from HR and one from a division of the bank

around 15 other candidates
In the final interview I went through 2 stages including group and individual. For group we were given a case to solve together where u showcase your teamwork and leadership, then individual interview was more about what you know about the bank and the stream specific ones
Standard aptitude tests and video interview followed by assessment centre. Assessment centre consisted of two group exercises and a face-to-face. Lots of questions about the role of the Bank of England and the specifics of the programme.

From online test to video interview, all smooth. I got the AC invite, did the AC in early Jan, now has a been a month. I didn’t hear back yet:)
BoE is literally the first for which I have to wait for one month for the AC outcome (still hasn’t come out)
I would understand (given it’s in the public sector which is like always slow on things) if they warned us in advance about how long it’s gonna be. But on the day of AC, we were told we would hear back in 2 weeks. The hr explicitly promised that. And now it’s been a month.
VERY DISAPPOINTED.
