O processo levou 4 semanas. Fui entrevistado pela Bank of London (Belfast, Irlanda do Norte) em fev. de 2024
Entrevista
The interview process was a fairly strange one, which was meant to be 2 stage interview process (which turned into 3). The 1st stage was classified as a Technical stage interview with some Cloud Security Engineer in the US who to put it frank was very awkward and didn't give much away and just asked questions about if I have much experience with this technology even if they were not mentioned on my CV. I didn't feel particularly confident that this stage went well or that I vibed in any way with the interviewer but I got positive feedback and progressed to the next stage.
Round 2 was a week later with the CTO who was in London, this too was just as technical In my opinion as the first stage. Lasted about an hour roughly and some questions such as Why Security? And what experiences I have implementing Security Processes and frameworks etc. I was told I would hear back either on Thur/Fri following this stage.
2 long weeks went past, with the date for finding out getting pushed back every few days. I then finally got confirmation that there was a 3rd stage now (News to me). I said yes which followed a few days later, more culture fit style interview but with some odd personal questions such as "Why decide to have kids and buy a house in that year" which I found very odd. Again I was told I would be notified of outcome the following week, during which time I got my preferred job offer and accepted it. I then withdrew from process with Bank of London so not sure if they planned on making an offer or not.
Overall I thought the interview process was bit disjointed at times and disorganised. I didn't get any good vibes about the place personally or a good idea of the team and how they operate.
