The phone interview was brief and focused on sales potential. The recruiter explained the commission-based role, licensing, and training. Questions centered on motivation, people skills, and comfort with sales. Overall, more of an initial screening than an in-depth interview, with next steps leading to a group session or follow-up

Some recruiters emailed me to schedule an in-person interview about 10 days after my application. Went over and found out that several people came for the same interview. The manager introduced the job for 20 minutes, and later we had individual conversations with him. When my turn came, I was refused in two sentences basically saying, "You don't had any experience in sales." This was merely a face-to-face rejection notice instead of an email-based one.

I was offered a video interview with a Zoom link. On the time of the interview, it ended up being a sales pitch for a multi-level marketing scheme where they try to pitch the position as being your own company. The general idea is that you start off with training and after your training you are purely commission based doing cold calls selling health insurance to retired individuals. The whole idea seemed predatory and, upon further research on this company, I found that many customer reported bad experiences. Overall, would not suggest this company if you have a heart.
